Travel to Moscow, Russia with VYIBA
Update: If you or your child is planning to participate in this intensive and do not have a passport ready, now is the time to start organizing your travel documents!
We invite you to join us for an extraordinary summer dance experience! Study and perform with the Diaghilev Ballet Academy while exploring one of the most culturally rich cities in the world - Moscow, Russia. This experience of a lifetime will enrich dancers' ballet technique while educating them on Russian culture, history, and lifestyle.
This intensive will take place at the Diaghilev Ballet Academy, a state of the art facility that offers sprung dance floors, clean dance and rest areas, and live accompaniment in class. Dancers will take class with Diaghilev Ballet Academy faculty and students, including Ballet, Character Dance, and Modern classes. This two week intensive will conclude with a performance featuring dancers from Russia, the US, and abroad.
Outside of the studio, dancers will be able to experience Moscow through chaperoned outings to famous landmarks, such as the Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, and Gorky Park. Through these outings, students will be able to learn about Russia's vast history, soak in Russian culture and lifestyle, and try some of the best local cuisine Moscow has to offer.
Classes will begin on Monday, June 17 and will close with a performance on Saturday, June 29. We invite you to join us in Moscow on June 12, so dancers have time to adjust to the time change and enjoy Moscow. We hope to see you there!
